System Coordinator

Position Summary

This position is responsible for managing the orders that enter the system so that these can be worked on time and in Full by the operational team, according to the requirements of internal and external customers and company procedures.

Schedule: Monday through Saturday (schedule varies)
Days Off: Two days off per week

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Driving Company Performance

  • Responsible for reviewing the pool of orders that enter the system.
  • Responsible for validating that orders entered the system are the same in ERMS and the cooler order management system (SERTI).
  • Inform the supervisor of any discrepancy detected in orders between ERMS and in the cooler order management system (SERTI).
  • Participate every morning in the daily plant meeting, to provide information about the orders to be processed during the day, providing information about pending products to complete the orders.
  • Report to the supervisor the pending products to complete the orders displayed by the system, so that these can be managed with production.
  • Responsible for managing with the transportation/customer service team, any discrepancies detected in the orders entered the system, to ensure that the orders to be processed are correct.
  • Analyze the reason for short products displayed by the system, identify if these are due to discrepancies with the inventory or production planning, and inform the supervisor to take any necessary action.
  • Responsible for sending work orders to the areas after coordination with the supervisor or operational leader in charge.
  • Inform the supervisor about any product found in the system's backorder pool, to determine the reasons and execute the necessary actions such as systemic processing or cutting them.
  • Make the necessary adjustments to the System in terms of available inventory in case such as bypass production, to ensure that orders can be processed.
  • Responsible for completing all the sheets associated with the loading of orders such as Daily loading sheets, Creamoland loading sheet and Daily loading sheet for small trucks with detailed information in each of them.
  • Responsible for Completing all control sheets associated with order processing, such as Cut Sheet.
  • Responsible for confirming by email the receipt of special customer requests and their status, after coordination with the supervisor.
  • Complete receiving of PFRs into cooler order management system (SERTI). Submit paperwork to proper teams.
  • Utilize continuous improvement mindset.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, sanitary and safe work area.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Follow all required safe work practices, use of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe handling of chemicals, fall restrictions, etc.
  • Responsible for food safety, pre-requisite programs and food quality related to designated area.
  • Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Work Experience

Required

  • Minimum of 6 months current experience in a manufacturing environment

Preferred

  • Experience in food and beverage industry

Education

  • High School diploma or Equivalent or 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training.

Technical Knowledge

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to write legibly to complete paperwork.
  • Microsoft Skills
  • Math skills
  • Follow and comply with all safety standards.

This position operates in a fast-paced manufacturing warehouse environment that is exposed to wet and cold conditions. The employee may have some exposure to dust, fumes, and cleaning chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high. Employees are required to wear required PPE that is in compliance with OSHA regulations, including hearing protection. Employees may experience swings in work-related demands of this position.

While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to stand, walk, kneel, and bend throughout the entire shift.

Employees must occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds, including above shoulder height. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. Must have full range of body motion.
