As a Security Officer - Entry Control in Commerce City, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will support access control by greeting employees and visitors, verifying credentials, and managing badge and entry procedures at key points. You will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, while reporting activity with clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at gates and entry points by checking identification, verifying appointments and/or shipping documentation, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate access logs.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control systems; report irregular activity and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, yard, and perimeter, including checking doors, docks, trailers, and restricted areas for policy compliance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
