Job Description




As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol in Saint Augustine, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will help maintain a welcoming environment by conducting routine vehicle patrols, remaining highly visible, and responding to security-related concerns with calm, clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license per AU Driver Policy Requirements. You will represent Allied Universal with agility, reliability, and integrity, delivering through teamwork and a caring, people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
  • Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate updates to the appropriate parties.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from emergency services and/or site management as needed.
  • Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and participate in shift briefings and post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
