To learn more: www.sony.com/en POSITION SUMMARY: Sony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a Program Management Specialist to join the Digital Transformation (DX) team in Culver City, CA. The DX division drives the delivery of impactful program solutions globally across Sony Group Companies. Our aim is to accelerate business growth by connecting strategic initiatives with human expertise, creativity, and collaboration. In this role, you will work closely with various members from Sony Group Companies to understand their needs and help design/improve the program called Pollinator Network to solve business challenges and promote innovation across Sony Group. This is an exciting opportunity to join a developing DX program and bridge the gap between human ingenuity and technological advancement, unleashing the full potential of creativity and collaboration across the Sony ecosystem. This hybrid position requires 2-3 days on-site in the Culver City Office. Responsibilities * Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external partners, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are provided to fulfill the project objectives * Organizes and facilitates bi-weekly gatherings and global workshops while partnering closely with stakeholders in Tokyo * Monitor project status, follow-up with stakeholders, prioritize projects, and identify potential risks that may impact the project's success * Proactively communicate with stakeholders, seek potential new business requests, and build strong relationships to ensure effective collaboration and successful project outcomes * Manage multiple projects or major project components as assigned * Proactively provide process improvements and remove obstacles to drive momentum and progress partnering with stakeholders in the US as well as Japan * Proactively support planning and executing creative initiatives to promote stakeholders' engagement * Collaborate with Tokyo team members to build and practice common standards, ensuring consistency and alignment to deliver programs efficiently. * Ensure clear communication with all stakeholders, aligning and managing the interests of multi-stakeholders to achieve project goals * Oversees all aspects of project administration, including developing and implementing effective processes for scheduling, documentation (e.g. meeting minutes, action items, and decisions), distribution, and other critical tasks. * Honesty, trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above QUALIFICATIONS: Your qualifications and experience should include: * Bachelor's degree and work experience in a related field * 3+ years of experience in program management or similar roles * Proven ability to effectively manage project timelines scope, dependencies, issues/risks & communications * Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments * Experience working with globally distributed teams and multicultural working environments * Experience in setting priorities, problem-solving and multitasking * Experience in community building through owning or managing programs * Excellent active listening, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Forms etc.) * Familiarity with collaboration tools such as SharePoint, MS Project, Miro, Jira, Confluence etc. * Ability to work flexibly to accommodate communication and partnership with stakeholders across different time zones * Demonstrate interest in exploring and adopting emerging technologies ADDITIONAL/PREFERRED SKILLS: * Experience creating and delivering executive-level summary reports and presentations * Ability to communicate effectively in Japanese at a professional level is a plus In addition to competitive pay and benefits, we offer an environment and culture that promotes Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $75,000 to $95,000. In addition to the annual base salary, this role has an annual bonus target of7%. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.
