The Opportunity This is a paidcontractopportunity.As an independent contractor (not an employee),you will work hand in hand with our social media team(and potentially other creators, if interested) to develop engaging, impactful content. We will havethe occasionalmeeting, otherwise the time commitment is veryflexible. Creatorswillwork on their own timeto produce content. We'relooking for true partners-we want creators to be true to their style and voice. We will orient you to our brand and our mission, as well as provideideas,sources,and the history of Big Tobacco.Butwe want our creators tomakevideosthey'reproud of. Duties include: Transforming creative briefsintovideoconcepts Writingscriptsfor your content Appearing on camerato share stories or insights Filming and editing videos Completing necessary paperwork, especially for content that includes others About You You are an engaging, clear communicator and love to be on camera. You'reinterested increatingunderthe following formats: Man OnTheStreet Interviews Direct to Camera Explainers Comedic Skits Lifestyle/Vlogging You have a portfolio or examples of content you have created. Not a dealbreaker, but if you have personal experience with nicotine use, we encourage you to apply. Whetheryou'vealready quit or are willing to try quitting with EX Program, your personal journey can be a powerful tool in helpingothers quit too. Background check We willneed your written consentto runabackgroundcheck beforewe enter a finalagreement.However, those results will not automatically disqualify candidates.If chosen as a potential contractor, you will beprovided withinformation on the types of background checks we conduct. The Brand There'sa lot of history and science in our work (we are a public health organization after all).So, we need someone who can communicate information clearly and accessibly, but can also keep people engaged and tuned in. You'llbe creating content forEX Program, our go-to-guide to help people on their quitting journey.It'sdeveloped with experts and informed by millions of experienced quitters. We provide science-backed, 24/7 support-all for free. A lot of people think the only way to quit is cold turkey, without any support or preparation. We'retrying to change the way people quit and want you to join us. Important Details Compensation will be on a per video basis, up to $500 per video, depending on your level of experience.This is a freelance contractor role, not afull-timeemployment position.
