Your Job

We're seeking a Content Marketing Specialist with strong editing and writing skills to join our SEO/GEO Content Marketing team.

Your mission is to ensure that every piece of content we publish is accurate, relevant, and positioned as the most trusted answer, whether someone finds it through Google or LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini).

You will not just be polishing words. You will oversee content at scale from idea to final publication, manage outside agencies, and ensure what we produce is not generic filler but clear, authoritative, and genuinely useful. This role involves editing at scale, so comfort working with high volumes of content is essential.

What You'll Do

Own Agency Relationships: You will be the main point of contact for our content agencies. You will review drafts, push back when something is not strong enough, and hold partners accountable for quality, depth, and brand voice.

Put Accuracy First: AI platforms prioritize high-quality, trustworthy information. You will ensure our content is factually sound, up to date, and properly supported, with no loose claims or surface-level insights.

Edit With Purpose: This goes beyond grammar checks. You will edit a high volume of articles for clarity, precision, and value, ensuring every paragraph earns its place and that nothing feels fluffy or vague.

Optimize for Search and AI: You will write and refresh content to keep us competitive in search results, while also structuring content to perform well in AI-surfaces.

Create Strong Feedback Loops: You will give clear, direct, and actionable feedback to agencies and internal writers, helping them sharpen their work, make it more authoritative, and make it easier for both humans and AI to understand.



What You Bring


Must-Haves



  • 2+ years of experience in content marketing, editing, or journalism





  • Strong writing and editing skills. You can take complex ideas and make them clear and readable.





  • Experience managing freelancers or agencies, with the confidence to send work back when it does not meet standards





  • A solid understanding of modern search behavior, from traditional SEO to AI-based discovery





  • A sharp eye for detail. You catch typos, fluff, weak arguments, and factual gaps.





  • The ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high editorial standards across high volumes of content





  • The ability to follow editorial guidelines and apply them consistently






Nice-to-Haves


  • Strong research skills. You know how to dig for reliable information.





  • Familiarity with tools like Google Docs, Google Sheets, WordPress, or Asana





  • A logic-driven mindset. You enjoy organizing information in a way that makes sense.
