As Garney's HR Technology Intern inKansas City, MO you will assist the HR Technology team in various tasks to assist a vastly growing Garney. To thrive in this role you will need to have a positive attitude and computer skills. This is a great chance to learn about internal HRIS systems and practices at a professional construction company.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Assist the HR Technology team with maintaining and supporting HRIS platforms such asSAP SuccessFactors and other HR systems
  • Supportemployee data management and data integrity audits
  • Assist withsystem testing, troubleshooting, and validationduring HRIS updates or enhancements
  • Participate in HR technology projects includingdocument management systems, onboarding solutions, and learning systems
  • Help create and maintainHRIS documentation, process guides, and training materials
  • Assist withreporting and data analysisusing HR systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Support HRIS team members withsystem configuration, data uploads, and integrations
  • Provide support forHR system users and assist with resolving system-related inquiries
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for HR technology and processes

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Currently pursuing aBachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, HR Management, Business Technology, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Junior or Senior standing preferred
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency inMicrosoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Interest inHR systems, technology, data analytics, or system administration
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
