Job Summary:
Join the team that makes the Wisconsin Union one of the most popular event venues in Madison. Under the general supervision of the Catering Operations Director, this position will execute on- and off-site catered events for Memorial Union, Union South, and other campus locations. In this role, you will lead the coordination and execution of a wide spectrum of events-from intimate breakfast meetings and weddings to large-scale banquets for up to 800 guests. You will be responsible for supervising and training permanent and part-time staff, mentoring student team members, and setting schedules. Additionally, you will manage inventory and assist with food, wages, and material costs for a budget of approximately $3 million. A successful candidate will:
