About the team:

The Business Development team within LG Technology Ventures is responsible in creating synergies between innovative startups and LG affiliate companies. As a member of the LGTV Business Development team, you will work collaboratively across various internal functions (i.e., Open Innovation, R&D, New Business teams) and external networks (i.e., startup companies and venture capital firms) to identify and evaluate strategic investment opportunities globally and help portfolio companies grow through strategic partnership with LG.

You will introduce innovative startup companies to the right audience within LG, provide insight on their technology and business model of the startups, and suggest strategic relationships that could be developed. You understand LG's open innovation needs, and harness them to enable deal teams to effectively formulate their strategic investing approach. With an air of humility, you bring strong strategic thinking, technology insight, and sound business judgment, along with the ability to think about what is - and what could be.

The Business Development team guarantees LGTV's worldwide growth by identifying the appropriate strategic investments - and then working to make them happen. Consisting of experienced open innovation professionals and integration experts, we're dedicated to identifying the business opportunities of tomorrow. We find and evaluate investment opportunities across existing and future markets, influence management team decisions, assist investment thesis formulation, and help manage post-investment collaboration.
