Summary of Job Duties:The Department Business Manager works with leadership in the Primary Care & Population Health Service Lines (PCPH) to support the institution's mission and vision. Provides overall administrative management and coordination of various business-related functions, including data projects, finance, and management of clinic procurement. The department business administrator will develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor key operational and quality metrics, analyze data, research outliers, and assist in implementation of process improvement. This position supports Service Line Leadership team as needed. Will act as administrator for special projects which could involve tracking assigned tasks in meetings and at times taking the lead on projects to help ensure completion. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field of study PLUS four (4) years of administrative and/or project management experience OR High School Diploma/GED PLUS eight (8) years of administrative and/or project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a clinic is highly desirable

Special knowledge, abilities, and skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in computers (preferably Microsoft Office Suite);

  • Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, manage multiple projects at one time, and integrate changes smoothly.

  • Epic Cadence knowledge will be essential.

  • Must learn other programs as necessary, i.e., Drop Box, Access, Visio.

  • Produces accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.

  • Identifies trends and monitors key access and financial metrics.

  • Develops action plans to correct deficiencies.

  • Manages programs and projects by creating and maintaining scope, budget, and forecasting.

  • Organizes programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.

  • Ensures goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance.

  • Meets with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding program issues and decisions on services.

  • Other duties as assigned.
