As an Allied Universal Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will greet employees, drivers, and visitors, verify credentials, manage entry and exit points, and document activity using a computer and/or tablet. You will remain visible, monitor for unusual conditions, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering professional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining access logs, and directing employees, visitors, and contractors to the appropriate check-in process.
• Screen and process inbound and outbound traffic for a logistics and distribution location, including coordinating driver check-in, monitoring dock and yard access, and documenting deliveries and pickups per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations through the proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including perimeter checks and observation of security-related systems such as cameras and alarms, as assigned by post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
