Security Officer - Unarmed Driver Rounds

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Driver Rounds in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor key areas, support access control and/or badge activity, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will build strong relationships through clear communication and customer-focused service, while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the distribution location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and assist with check-in and/or check-out processes for visitors and deliveries, verifying required identification and directing individuals to the proper areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and coordinating with site leadership and/or local responders as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol observations, and unusual conditions, and communicate key information to supervisors and oncoming shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
