As a Security Officer - Main Entrance Desk in Hattiesburg, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced food and beverage location where you will support access control and security-related operations at key entry points. You will greet employees, visitors, and drivers with outstanding customer service, verify credentials, manage sign-in and badge processes, monitor activity through routine patrols and cameras, and communicate clearly with site teams to help reduce incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Control access at entry points by checking identification and/or credentials, verifying appointments and/or delivery documentation, issuing temporary badges as directed, and maintaining visitor and contractor logs.
• Screen and process inbound and outbound vehicle traffic at gates by confirming shipping and receiving paperwork, directing drivers to designated areas, and reporting irregular activity through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes, and report maintenance concerns and/or unusual conditions observed during rounds.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
