JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Enterprise Infrastructure Manager, under the direction of the Director of Infrastructure, is responsible for managing and coordinating enterprisewide IT infrastructure initiatives to meet the Firm's business and operational needs. This role provides senior technical leadership and delivery oversight across the infrastructure landscape, ensuring that systems are designed, implemented, and operated in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable ISOaligned information security controls.

The position manages a geographically distributed team of infrastructure engineers located across multiple U.S. regions and is accountable for the design, operation, and delivery of the Firm's enterprise infrastructure, with the majority of datacenter workloads hosted in Microsoft Azure. The role designs, builds, and supports key components of the infrastructure environment, including identity services, server platforms, messaging systems, networking, and security solutions.

The Senior Enterprise Infrastructure Manager leads the daytoday operations of Enterprise Infrastructure, including system performance monitoring, patching and updates, capacity planning, and infrastructure lifecycle management. This position also oversees business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities and manages thirdparty service providers and vendorsupplied solutions, ensuring effective integration with firmwide applications and adherence to established standards.

In addition to operational leadership, the Senior Enterprise Infrastructure Manager is accountable for the successful execution of complex, multiphase infrastructure initiatives. This includes defining technical standards, enforcing architectural consistency, managing risk, and owning delivery timelines while coordinating across infrastructure, network, security, application, and vendor teams. The role also provides tactical leadership within IT to evaluate, improve, and streamline internal best practices and technologies.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of enterprise networking architectures and modern "asaservice" technologies, balancing deep technical expertise with disciplined execution and crossfunctional leadership to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable infrastructure solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

Infrastructure Operations & Leadership

  • Lead and manage daytoday activities and workload across enterprise network and systems teams.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for complex infrastructure issues impacting production systems and core services.
  • Ensure system stability, availability, and business continuity remain top operational priorities.
  • Enforce infrastructure policies, standards, and procedures across all supported systems.
  • Provide technical direction, mentorship, and escalation guidance to infrastructure engineers and support teams.
  • Triage complex technical issues and guide teams toward effective, sustainable solutions.

Architecture, Standards & Lifecycle Management

  • Serve as senior technical authority for Active Directory and identity services, including Domain Controllers, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Objects, certificate services, and authenticationdependent systems.
  • Define, maintain, and enforce enterprise server build standards, configuration baselines, and operating system lifecycle policies.
  • Create and maintain a multiyear roadmap for network and system upgrades aligned with business needs.
  • Reduce longterm operational and security risk by eliminating unsupported platforms, legacy dependencies, and unmanaged configurations.

Project & Delivery Management

  • Establish clear technical goals, milestones, and delivery deadlines for infrastructure initiatives.
  • Own execution discipline by tracking progress, dependencies, and risks using Basecamp as the system of record.
  • Maintain accountability for keeping infrastructure workstreams on schedule and aligned with agreedupon timelines.
  • Focus and align resources to achieve objectives established by IT leadership.
  • Coordinate sequencing and execution across Network Operations, Applications, Security, Facilities, and external vendors.
  • Complete special projects involving infrastructure technologies as required.

Security, Resiliency & Compliance

  • Partner closely with the Information Security team to implement infrastructure security solutions and controls.
  • Assist the Security team with annual Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity testing.
  • Maintain documentation required to support audit, compliance, and security reviews, including server build baselines and infrastructure controls.
  • Enforce privileged access management and service account governance in collaboration with Information Security leadership.

Engineering Enablement & CrossFunctional Collaboration

  • Lead engineering teams in applying best practices for deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Incorporate analytical techniques to assess system performance, capacity, and future growth needs.
  • Translate business and strategic requirements into detailed technical and process requirements, including data mappings to support technology evaluations and software selection.
  • Work closely with Enterprise Applications teams to implement and support firmwide applications.
  • Advise stakeholders on technology strategy, policy, administration, and service provider planning.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Support office buildouts, relocations, and enterprise initiatives requiring coordinated infrastructure delivery.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft enterprise platforms, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Exchange, Intune, or equivalent mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise networking including SD WAN, Cisco networking, and firewall platforms.
  • Knowledge of network and system performance monitoring, availability management, and capacity planning concepts.
  • Experience with the architecture and management of infrastructure and large scale systems across cloud platforms, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
  • Solid grasp of general network architecture concepts and Microsoft infrastructure technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability and curiosity to identify technical deficiencies, propose solutions, and collaborate with peers to implement improvements across the broader technology landscape.
  • Ability to train, mentor, and share technical knowledge with team members and stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree, or experience/training in lieu of degree.
  • Relevant vendor certifications preferred.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of direct IT management experience required
  • 10+ years of IT engineering experience.
  • Experience managing Microsoft cloud service providers, including coordination of support, service delivery, and operational alignment for Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms.
  • Hands on experience supporting and operating enterprise environments leveraging SD WAN, Microsoft 365 Exchange Online, Cisco networking, monitoring platforms, security solutions, and Windows networking technologies. Experience with server management
  • Experience working in a legal environment is preferred.

The anticipated good-faith base salary range for this position is:

  • New York, NY: $179,010 to $246,138 per year.

We also review compensation regularly against industry benchmarks and performance outcomes, so you can grow your career here with confidence-knowing your pay recognizes both your impact and our commitment to an equitable approach.

In addition to a competitive base salary, certain positions are eligible for a comprehensive performance-based bonus, payable monthly or annually.
