Mopar & FCAT Labor Relations Manager

As a Labor Relations Manager, you will play a critical role in sustaining that mission by shaping a positive workplace culture, driving labor management effectiveness, and ensuring smooth operations across Mopar and FCAT.

This role is a key strategic partner to operations and union leadership, responsible for delivering practical solutions, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will enable operational excellence by:

Labor Relations Leadership



  • Coaching and partnering with operations and union leadership to resolve business challenges and reinforce collaborative relationships.


  • Leading local negotiations between operating management and local unions.


  • Advising and counseling management and union representatives on contract administration and interpretation.


  • Ensuring compliance with joint labor management committee initiatives.



Grievance & Investigatory Processes



  • Managing the full grievance process through the Appeal Board level.


  • Facilitating conflict resolution and leading difficult discussions aligned with the grievance procedure.


  • Coordinating investigations for grievances and employee relations matters.



Employment & Workforce Administration



  • Leading all employment related activities for Mopar and FCAT.


  • Overseeing hourly manpower processes and workforce deployment in accordance with contractual obligations and corporate policies.


  • Driving the execution of contractual commitments, including attendance management, progressive discipline, and workforce administration.


  • Managing attendance coding and pay for PDCs in states with family leave regulatory requirements.


  • Focusing on reducing unplanned absenteeism to support operational stability.



Talent Development & Lean Application



  • Supporting the development of Labor Relations and Employment staff.


  • Contributing to and reinforcing Stellantis' lean methodologies across operations.

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 8 years of Human Resources experience, with a strong emphasis on Labor Relations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience participating in collective bargaining.
  • Expertise in interpreting and applying labor contracts and agreements.
  • Experience navigating investigations and compliance processes within a unionized environment.
  • Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders who may have competing priorities.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills, particularly in difficult or sensitive situations.
  • Ability to analyze data and use insights to support decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • 10 years of HR experience with an emphasis on Labor Relations in a manufacturing setting.
  • Advanced degrees focus on Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Law.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems and reporting tools.
  • Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment.
