*Print Production Technician* *OnSite*
*Position Overview* A Production & Office Services Technician is needed to support daily operational tasks in a fastpaced, customerfacing environment. This role involves handling incoming job requests, operating production and office equipment, managing assets, and ensuring highquality output. The technician will perform routine tasks, assist end users, and maintain equipment while delivering excellent customer service. *Key Responsibilities* * Receive, review, and electronically log incoming job requests. * Operate standard finishing equipment such as cutters, inserters, laminators, and hole punchers. * Operate office and production equipment including printers, copiers, scanners, and fax machines. * Apply asset tags to equipment and update internal records. * Track and coordinate equipment moves, additions, and changes. * Clean and maintain office equipment as needed. * Process and distribute incoming and outgoing documents, including faxed materials. * Perform data entry and update basic forms using a computer. * Collect and submit meter readings. * Troubleshoot production and output issues and escalate when necessary. * Perform quality checks before, during, and after production runs. * Sort, scan, and convert hardcopy materials into digital formats. * Respond to equipment issues and coordinate service requests. * Operate highvolume printing, copying, folding, and inserting equipment. * Estimate, schedule, and track production jobs. * Optimize document layouts for quality and accuracy. * Store and organize jobs for future use, including file backups. * Inspect files for formatting issues such as fonts, resolution, or alignment. * Perform basic file conversions and integrate variable data into templates. * Conduct routine operator maintenance on equipment. * Maintain logs and reporting information for billing. * Provide basic training to end users on equipment operation. * Coordinate with internal or external vendors for supplies and service needs. * Assist in developing work processes or templates as needed. * Lift and move items up to 50 pounds. *Required Skills* * Strong computer literacy and comfort with standard office applications. * Ability to create spreadsheets, use formulas, sort/filter data, and generate basic charts. * Ability to move data between applications and embed files. * Familiarity with navigating network drives, printers, and shared resources. * Ability to send/receive email, save files, and perform accurate data entry. * Basic math skills including division, multiplication, and percentages. * Professional communication and customer service skills. * Ability to coach or assist coworkers when needed. * Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. *Experience & Education* * Minimum of one year in a customer service or operations environment. * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Postsecondary technical training or related experience preferred. * Relevant certifications are a plus. *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Poway, CA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
