POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of the FP&A team responsible for assisting with enterprise-wide planning, forecasting, reporting, and investor relations within a large, seasonal, multi-site hospitality organization. Reporting to the Manager of FP&A, this role provides financial modeling expertise and analytical support that is critical to shaping and sharing our financial story with the leadership team and investors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Lead the monthly forecast consolidation process and reporting.
  • Own key models & analysis in support of our annual budgeting process.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive alignment on strategic initiatives.

Long Range Planning
  • Drive the 5-Year Long Range Plan modeling efforts used to inform capex prioritization, capital structure considerations, and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop detailed EBITDA and FCF projection scenarios.
  • Prepare materials for and participate in discussions with senior leadership.

Investor Relations - Debt & Equity
  • Coordinate scheduling and material preparation efforts in support of Alterra's quarterly earnings call with external stakeholders.
  • Assist with debt investor relations, including refinancing and rating agency communication.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reporting to equity investors and board of directors.

Competitive Analysis & Ad-hoc
  • Deliver competitive benchmarking, including financial analysis of publicly disclosed data from comparable industry peers.
  • Identify and drive initiatives to continuously improve and automate processes.

COMPETENCIES & JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to build complex financial models

  • Ability to operate at multiple altitudes, manage through ambiguity, execute projects end-to-end, and effectively prioritize workload

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Required: undergraduate degree; ideally a degree in finance, business administration, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate development, private equity, and/or investment banking
  • Preferred: CMA, CFA or MBA with a focus on finance

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of the Company's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Denver area base salary range: $80,000-$112,000 per year
