This leader is responsible for establishing a strategy and associated roadmap, to deliver a comprehensive reporting and analytics framework, serving our pharmacy, our clients, and collaborating partners, for the Optum Frontier Pharmacy.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead Power BI Reporting strategy: build and maintain end to end Power BI data model, interactive dashboards and analytics products using Power BI ensuring clarity and usability for business stakeholders, operations and external clients
  • Collaborate with internal leaders and external partners to gain an understanding of their data & reporting needs and priorities
  • Analyze datasets to generate insights that drive strategic and operational decision making
  • Familiarity with current security controls, governance practices, and compliance frameworks
  • Perform root cause analysis on data-quality issues and deliver corrective solutions
  • Understand the user experience and deliver solutions that provide value
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while prioritizing deliverables to align with value, business needs and capacity
  • Lead change and innovation by pursuing opportunities to adopt new technologies and drive adoption to enhance business outcomes
  • Drive and manage high-quality execution across organizational lines
  • Drive to understand the "why" and connect the benefit of technology to the business capability and be able to clearly articulate this to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in data modeling, ETL processes, data quality principles, and the ability to communicate analytical outcomes clearly
  • 5+ years of experience in PowerBI & Basic SQL
  • Experience prioritizing strategic deliverables
  • Experience in systematically analyzing processes and problems, drawing relevant conclusions, and devising appropriate course to resolution
  • Proven verbal and visual presentation skills, as well as solid written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven effective collaboration skills with cross-functional teams resulting in conflict resolution, issue resolution, and successful outcomes
  • Proven solid analytical skills for data-driven report development with the ability to work on structured and unstructured datasets
  • Proven solid skills in process support, automation, and business insights

Preferred Qualification:

  • Experience collaborating with and influencing senior level leaders and gaining consensus

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
