This role enhances design throughput, consistency, quality, and organizational transparency. Reporting to the Manager of Program Management, you will build and implement planning, tracking, and reporting mechanisms that scale across product teams. You'll partner closely with *Design, Research, Product, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance* to develop standardized processes that ensure secure, compliant, user-centered digital banking experiences. The position requires strong ownership, operational excellence, and comfort establishing structure in environments where strategy is still being defined. The ideal candidate is highly skilled at simplifying and scaling systems, managing crossfunctional dependencies, and driving alignment. You bring deep experience in UX, product development, and enterprise operations-especially in complex or regulated settings. *Basic Qualifications* * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * 6+ years as a Producer or UX Program Manager driving large UX initiatives through the full product lifecycle * Experience with design and project tools such as *Figma, Sketch, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Aha!* * Strong background in resource planning, program delivery, tracking, communication, and risk management *Preferred Qualifications* * Strong working knowledge of *Agile, Waterfall*, or hybrid methodologies * Deep understanding of *humancentered design* * Experience supporting UX programs in fintech, banking, or enterprise environments * Proven ability to manage crossfunctional projects, dependencies, and bottlenecks * Excellent communication and stakeholdermanagement skills * High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple workstreams * Strong ownership, urgency, and followthrough *Key Contributions* * Lead Design Operations: intake, backlog, prioritization, and delivery processes * Partner with design managers on capacity planning and goal tracking * Drive regular review cadences and crossfunctional alignment * Document and optimize frameworks, workflows, and best practices * Build dashboards and reporting tools that provide transparency for product, engineering, and leadership * Support programs that elevate customer experience across digital financial products * Create onboarding standards and teamwide knowledgesharing practices * Facilitate collaboration between design, product, engineering, risk, and compliance * Escalate issues, manage trade-offs, and balance business needs with UX integrity *Typical Task Breakdown* * Lead UX intake and backlog management * Align resource planning and project prioritization * Drive milestones, reviews, and delivery alignment * Maintain and update designops frameworks and documentation * Build dashboards and crossteam reporting * Support onboarding, training, and continual learning * Manage risks and crossfunctional dependencies *Team Interaction & Work Environment* You will collaborate daily with: * UX Designers & Researchers * Product Managers * Engineering Teams * Risk & Compliance partners (fintech context) * A small core DesignOps leadership team *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
