About the School of Education The School of Education at the University of Cincinnati prepares caring, competent and committed educational scholars and practitioners, conducts transformative research, and collaborates with community and professional partners to enrich educational practice and create positive social change. Job Overview The School of Education is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage a National Institutes of Health multi-year grant. The project coordinator position is a hybrid, 12-month, 30 hour per week, 75% FTE, unique opportunity to collaborate with researchers, UC graduate assistants and teachers, administrators, and youth in high schools. This position is supported by grant funding with a start date July 1, 2026 and end date June 30, 2027 with the possibility to renew annually for up to three years. Essential Functions Communicating with school personnel, research team members, and community partners Supporting curriculum design and high school teaching Supporting IRB and human subject activities Maintaining and organizing records and documentation related to program implementation Coordinating meetings and major project activities and events Other duties as assigned Required Education Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, sociology, communications, or related field. Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement Required Experience 1 year of practical experience working with youth in a school or community setting is required. Preferred Qualifications Considered Advanced degree or graduate-level coursework Experience with curriculum design Experience managing a research project Highly organized Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledgeable about research principles, design, and strategies Knowledgeable about Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) Leadership experience Required Application Documentation cover letter stating experience and interest curriculum vitae/resume names and contact information of three references Physical Requirements/Work Environment Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
