Aquent Studios is looking to add to our growing team! This role will be working with one of the world's largest CPG brands. We are looking for a mix of skills! Project Management, Account Management and some Operations! This role is hybrid - will need to be able to go onsite in Manhattan 1-2 times a week Senior Creative Project Manager, Operations (CPG) Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Creative Project Manager, Operations to support a fast-paced creative team within the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) space. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across creative workflows-from project intake through execution-while ensuring timelines, budgets, and communication are managed with precision. This individual will serve as a key liaison between cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring projects are clearly scoped, properly resourced, and delivered on time and within budget. In addition to core project management responsibilities, this role includes ownership of invoicing and budget tracking processes for the account. Key Responsibilities Project Intake & Workflow Management
- Own and manage the project intake process, ensuring all requests are clearly defined, scoped, and aligned with business priorities
- Partner with creative, marketing, and brand teams to translate briefs into actionable project plans
- Establish and maintain project timelines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple concurrent initiatives
- Identify risks, dependencies, and resourcing needs, proactively adjusting plans as needed
Timeline & Budget Oversight
- Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with approved scopes and financial targets
- Track hours, costs, and burn rates; flag potential overruns and recommend solutions
- Maintain visibility into overall account health through consistent reporting
Meeting Facilitation & Documentation
- Lead or support project status meetings, kickoff sessions, and stakeholder reviews
- Capture clear, accurate, and actionable meeting recap notes, including key decisions, next steps, and owners
- Distribute recaps in a timely manner to ensure alignment and accountability across teams
Creative Operations Support
- Help streamline and optimize creative workflows, tools, and processes
- Support prioritization and resource allocation in collaboration with creative leadership
- Drive consistency in ways of working across projects and teams
Invoicing & Financial Operations (10-15%)
- Generate and maintain billing reports for the account
- Prepare and issue individual project invoices with accuracy and timeliness
- Own and update a master budget tracker, ensuring all financial data is current and reconciled
- Partner with finance and account teams to ensure smooth billing cycles and issue resolution
Qualifications
- ~7-10+ years of experience in creative project management or operations,
- Expertise in CPG, packaging - SKU matrixes, creative concepts, design intent, adaptation, line extensions, limited editions, etc.
- Proven experience managing project intake, timelines, and budgets across multiple workstreams
- Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in budget tracking and invoicing processes
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to capture clear and concise meeting notes with strong follow-through
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Workfront, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar)
- Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets for budget tracking and reporting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Remote/Hybrid - ability to be on-site 1-2 days wk/as needed
