IT Security Specialist

Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Security Specialist for a hybrid position (minimum 3 days per week onsite) located in Charlotte, NC or Richmond, VA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as an execution lead for the Control Tower and PMO in the Vulnerability Response team
• Drive awareness of program benefits across Global Technology teams and partners
• Build community expertise, best practices, and training
• Gather input for future improvements and initiatives, specifically to assist with ServiceNow implementation
• Identify and align key stakeholder leads to oversee the Tech Focus Group/Community of Practice
• Provide ongoing communications throughout the change process and capture benefits
• Manage program stakeholders and practitioners list
• Screen new CVEs for impact and coordinate between remediation teams
• Understand and monitor Risk Appetite and SPI metrics and plan countermeasures
• Partner with planning teams for upcoming changes
• Solution cross-team issues and support the incident command center for P1 and elevated P2 events

Requirements:

• Knowledge of vulnerability management is critical
• Experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Management
• Experience with Agile tools (Jira)

Desired skills:

• Experience with Confluence and vulnerability management is a strong plus

• Strong organizational skills

Pay range: $67.36 - $75.36 per hour
