POSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking a Human Resources Intern for our Summer 2026 Internship Program. The Human Resources Intern will support various teams across our People Resources function with a primary focus on HR Compliance.

U.S. Venture's Internship Program runs May - August. Dates may vary based on individual class schedules. This position is located in Appleton, WI and will start at 425 Better Way, Appleton, WI 54915. We are excited to be transitioning to our new corporate headquarters during this internship timeframe and this position will eventually be located at 222 W College Avenue, Appleton, WI 54911. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Audit and validate team member data
  • Support the HR team with data entry, tracking, and basic reporting
  • Help update and format HR communications, policies, and training materials
  • Assist with scheduling, coordination, and tracking of learning and development activities
  • Provide administrative support for wellness programs, vendors, and HR events
  • Support recruitment efforts, including hiring events and candidate tracking
  • Assist with I-9 employment verification and compliance related documentation
  • Prepare summaries, trackers, and spreadsheets for HR projects
  • Assist with process improvement projects
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field

  • Junior or Senor status preferred

  • Experience analyzing data

  • Ability to recognize opportunities for new, creative, and innovate solutions

  • Proficiency in oral and written communication, including proper use of English, grammar and punctuation in business correspondence

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, HRIS experience a plus

  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while producing excellent work results

  • Ability to professionally network with peers in the market
