The Principal, Strategic Execution is a senior-level leader responsible for shaping, advancing, and integrating key transformation initiatives across the clinical enterprise. This role serves as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO), translating enterprise strategic priorities into clear clinical initiatives with clear actionable plans, across the CCO's portfolio. The Principal leads by influence across a highly matrixed environment, guiding alignment and decision-making without direct formal authority. The role is accountable for driving clarity, structure, and rigor across major transformation efforts and for ensuring coherence between enterprise priorities and clinical operations. This role also anticipates organizational risks, identifies interdependencies, and frames options to support informed executive decision-making. A core deliverable is producing CEO- and Board- decision ready materials that elevate the CCO's executive effectiveness. Overall, the Principal enables sharper enterprise decision-making, accelerates transformation progress, and strengthens alignment across the clinical system.

Essential Functions

  • Translate enterprise strategic priorities into actionable initiatives across the CCO's divisions including:

  • Population Health and Integrated Care Delivery:

  • Community Health

  • Clinical Research

  • Clinical Standardization

  • Quality, Safety and Experience

  • As well as shared portfolios with the COO such as the Physician and APP Enterprise Strategy. Develop executive and board-level materials, including presentations, briefing documents, and transformation updates that are decision-ready.

  • Design and assess major business cases, incorporating financial, clinical, operational, and organizational implications to inform prioritization.

  • Facilitate coordination across the CCO's portfolio to ensure strategic initiatives progress with clarity and alignment.

  • Lead cross-functional efforts among the CCO divisions to ensure success between CECH initiatives, population health, care management, and value-based programs.

  • Prepare the CCO for high-stakes meetings through talking points, strategic framing, scenario anticipation, and narrative development.

  • Partner with clinical, operational, and executive leaders to evaluate transformation progress, remove barriers, and ensure strategy-to-execution alignment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree. Required

  • 10 years of relevant experience. Required
