Pay: This is a commission based position

Primarily responsible for supervising and managing the receiving and receipting of incoming freight, load building and shipping operations in the store. This position is responsible for assessing associates' productivity and efficiency, handling associate complaints and grievances, disciplining associates, managing inventory, planning work and establishing procedures related to freight, load building and shipping operations, apportioning the work among the associates, managing inventory, maintenance of store facilities and equipment, and managing the associates that are responsible for expediting freight, as set forth above.


Responsibilities

Managing logistics related to receiving and receipting of incoming freight, load building and shipping operations in the store

Managing maintenance of store facility and the associates that are responsible for expediting freight.

Detail oriented

Strong communication skills

Use of problem solving skills regarding freight, load building, shipping and other operations


Qualifications

Exercise discretion and independent judgment in developing, optimizing and executing operation functions to meet defined goals

Oversee and implement procedures to manage inventory to reduce shrinkage and ensure timely customer product delivery

Ensure proper maintenance and usage of store facilities and equipment

Establish and maintain relationships and coordinate internal resources with third parties/vendors

Function as a liaison between the contractor and the client, coordinating efforts of various departments with the customer
