Job Description

The location for this role is Amesbury, MA/Portsmouth, NH.

Job Summary: Perform routine recon ops activities such as general ledger transactions, including certain daily work and reconciliations. Responsibilities include reconciling accounts, preparing reports and statements, as well as other routine entry-level operational duties. Must be proficient in the use of computer-based spreadsheets and related software.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Perform account reconciliations, including BaaS related bank statements and general ledger accounts as assigned
  • Review general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries as appropriate
  • Act as a liaison between Operations teams and accounting to ensure all operations related processes are booked properly and rectified timely for accurate financial reporting for the Bank
  • Complete any daily/monthly/annual reconciliations as assigned
  • Assist in gathering information for internal audit firm, regulatory examiners, and any other 3rd party requesting financial information as needed
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory reporting as needed
  • Perform additional duties as requested, needed or assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business, a plus

    • Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in banking or banking related field
    • Knowledge of PCAOB standards and SOX, a plus
    • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and techniques
    • Must have computer skills and work proficiency with Microsoft Office
    • Knowledge of FloQuastsystems modules, a plus





WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

PAY RANGE: $22.57 - $29.35

The pay range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the pay range for this job at the time of posting. Actual pay may vary based on experience, skills, and market factors; additional compensation may apply.
