The Associate Solutions Consultant at PTC plays a crucial role in supporting the sales process by demonstrating the value and capabilities of PTC's solutions to prospective clients. This entry-level position involves assisting senior consultants in technical presentations, proofs-of-concept, and responding to technical inquiries, contributing to the successful adoption of PTC products.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist senior Solutions Consultants in preparing and delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers, showcasing PTC's software solutions.
• Support the customization and configuration of PTC products for proof-of-concept (POC) engagements, ensuring they align with client requirements and demonstrate tangible business value.
• Conduct research and analysis on client business challenges and industry trends to help tailor solution proposals effectively.
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and translate them into technical requirements and solution architectures.
• Respond to technical questions from prospects during sales cycles, clarifying product features, benefits, and implementation considerations.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of PTC's product portfolio, including PLM, CAD, IoT, and AR solutions.
• Create and update demonstration environments and supporting materials, ensuring their readiness and accuracy for client engagements.
• Participate in internal training sessions and self-study to continuously enhance product knowledge and presentation skills.
• Provide feedback to product management and engineering teams based on customer interactions and market demands.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Industrial), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen interest in technology and business applications.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
• A strong desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced technology environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Familiarity with CAD software, PLM systems, IoT platforms, or AR technologies is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites as required.

PTC carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $71,000 - $78,000. The anticipated annual salary range encompasses both the base salary and the on-target incentive compensation that may be attained in this role. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.

Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Eligible employees also have the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program (ESPP) which allows for the purchase of discounted PTC stock. Certain roles may also be eligible for participation in our equity programs.
