About this opportunity:
The Business Solution Lead is responsible for reviewing business intake requests and translating business needs into actionable requirements. This includes orchestrating alignment across multiple products and stakeholders. This role ensures a comprehensive understanding of business processes and product pillars, enabling the delivery of impactful solutions that drive organizational value. This role serves as a bridge between business and product teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and successful delivery of business requirements.
This role will report to the Sr Director of Business Solutions Enablement.
What you will do:
- Opportunity Identification and Problem Framing: Review intake process requests and articulate business opportunities and problems by engaging with stakeholders, analyzing data, and understanding market trends.
- Requirements Definition: Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements, ensuring they are clear, actionable, and aligned with organizational objectives.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Facilitate collaboration among functional and IT Leaders to ensure shared understanding and agreement on priorities, requirements, and solution approaches.
- Product Pillar and Process Understanding: Develop and maintain knowledge of product pillars, business processes, and cross-functional workflows to inform analysis and capability.
- Presentation of Business Insights: Synthesize and communicate analysis results and business insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels, supporting informed decision-making.
Key Outputs
- Initiative and Cross-Product Definitions: Well-defined business initiatives and cross-product opportunities, documented to facilitate prioritization and execution.
- Requirements Packages: Comprehensive requirements documentation, including process maps, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Clear Delivery of Business Requests: Accurate and timely translation of business needs into actionable IT requests, ensuring clarity and traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Collaboration and Communication
- Lead workshops and meetings to gather input, align expectations, and validate requirements with stakeholders.
- Present business insights, analysis results, and recommendations in a clear, structured manner suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure dependencies and integrations are identified, managed, and communicated proactively.
The skills you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, advanced degree a plus; or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in business analysis, product management, or a similar role within a complex, multi-product organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to frame business issues and define actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and influence diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with requirements elicitation, documentation, and process mapping using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate cross-product dependencies, and maintain a holistic view of the business landscape.
- Collaborative mindset and experience working in agile or cross-functional product teams.
- Process reengineering - improvements prior to system delivery changes (Lean Six Sigma training and experience a plus).

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan:Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
