- Partner with analysts and trading teams to optimize trading settings (delays, limits, combinability), balancing risk prevention, bet rejections, and customer experience.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on trading performance, providing insights and alignment across marketing, product, and VIP teams.
- Oversee new trading initiatives, analyzing performance and customer behavior impact.
- Partner with Trading Support and Trading Operations teams to improve settlement times, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Serve as a reliable liaison for our trading department and third-party providers, addressing issues and communicating information related to feed reliability.
- Help improve and maintain competitive uptime for our in-play offering, while also monitoring and reporting on the functionality of our pre-match offering. Leveraging data through detailed tracking and reporting to find areas of focus.
- Develop and deliver both real-time and retroactive performance reporting in collaboration with the Business Intelligence and Trading Support teams.
- Deliver routine presentations on key findings and insights to senior leaders in Trading and Product.
Essential Functions
- Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Possesses strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to spot trends and patterns within large datasets, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in a trading role at a major operator a plus.
- Deep understanding of the industry, with specialized knowledge of trading capabilities and customer behavior a plus.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation), with proven experience in managing relationships, conveying technical information clearly, and addressing issues or performance concerns with relevant teams.
- Knowledge and experience of SQL and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Ability to independently deliver high quality work under the pressure of tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work outside of regular hours when needed, including occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation The annual salary range for this position is $61,760 - $92,640.00. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance -based bonus plan. Applicants must possess legal authorization to work for our company in the U.S. without the need for immigration sponsorship. At this time, this role is not eligible for immigration-related employment authorization sponsorship including H-1B, O-1, E-3, TN, OPT, etc.

As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies.
