North America Health Solutions Leader - New York or Chicago

How do you lead health strategy in a market defined by volatility, data, and rising client expectations? In this role coordinating Health Solutions for North America, you will develop Aon's Health & Benefits agenda. You will set the strategy, solutions, and operating model that deliver outstanding, data-driven outcomes for clients at scale. This is a highimpact enterprise role for a leader ready to influence the market, accelerate growth, and redefine what phenomenal health solutions look like across North America.

What will your role look like?

  • Build, lead and implement the North America Health strategy aligned to Aon's 3x3 and Human Capital agenda
  • Define a differentiated, scalable Health vision grounded in clinical expertise and client needs
  • Own Health solution strategy across advisory, analytics, innovation, and scalable delivery
  • Act as a visible market leader, strengthening Aon's Health brand through thought leadership and senior client engagement
  • Drive P&L performance, partnering with finance and regional leaders on investment and growth priorities
  • Embed data, analytics, and actuarial insight at the core of strategy, solutions, and commercial outcomes
  • Lead Health innovation and growth, including emerging solutions, partnerships, and M&A opportunities
  • Build and inspire highperforming, inclusive Health teams with a strong leadership and succession pipeline
  • Advance the Health target operating model, fully employing Aon Business Services (ABS)
  • Lead enterprise change and activate Aon United to deliver integrated, scalable client solutions

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Deep expertise in Health solutions, capable of operating credibly across Health, Talent, Wealth, and broader Human Capital domains.
  • Significant experience in the U.S. healthcare market, from either the advisory (consulting/broking) or supply side (payer, carrier, or health services/solutions).
  • Enterprise leader with a track record of driving transformation, operating model change, and solution adoption through influence.
  • Strong data and analytics proficiency, with the ability to convert insight into strategic and commercial impact.
  • Proven change leadership capability-able to mobilize stakeholders, shift behaviors, and sustain momentum through complex transformation.
  • Experience operating in large, matrixed global organizations, with exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Shown ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent, and to build inclusive, high performing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 15+ years of immersive healthcare market experience,
  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in benefits consulting, management consulting, health plans, or healthcare services organizations selling into employers, consumers, or payers.
  • Maintain all regulatory licenses, permissions, and technical requirements applicable under local legislation.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $450,000 - $500,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
