Renewable Energy Program Coordinator (Contract)

Location: Brandon, FL (Onsite | Hybrid potential after training)

Pay: $33.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Duration: 12-month contract

Position Overview

Support renewable energy programs by processing applications, coordinating with customers and installers, and ensuring timely approvals. This role is ideal for candidates with strong communication, data processing, and customer support skills who are interested in clean energy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities



  • Process and manage renewable energy and net metering applications through completion
  • Analyze application data and ensure accuracy using the Energy Efficiency Collaboration Platform (EECP)
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, solar installers, and internal teams
  • Respond to customer and contractor inquiries related to solar and battery storage programs
  • Provide first-level resolution for email-based support requests
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely meter set and program approvals
  • Maintain accurate records and track application status using Excel and internal systems
  • Support program goals by ensuring compliance with company standards and tariffs



Qualifications



  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to analyze data and manage high-volume application processing
  • Experience with EECP or similar systems preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

  • Training provided (virtual and classroom-based)
  • Work is primarily email-based customer and application support (100%)
