Short Description

The Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery Division in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Cooper Health University is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Urogynecologist for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor.

Education Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited institution.

Innovative spirit in the clinical setting, superior teamwork with interdisciplinary collaborative approach, desire to work with underserved populations.


Experience Required

  • Have completed a fellowship program in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery; achieved or eligible for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and subspecialty certificate in Urogynecology, and have or be eligible for an unrestricted New Jersey Medical License
  • Fully support the academic, clinical, and educational missions of our program including creating scholarly work, improving quality metrics, and creating a positive learning environment
  • Display the communication, and interpersonal skills required to build an active clinical practice, develop areas of productive scholarship, and recruit additional faculty
  • Have a level of academic achievement to warrant appointment as an Assistant or Associate Professor at the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University; and
  • Significantly influence the direction of our program, and join like-minded faculty committed to our mission of being at the cutting edge of Urogynecology!

In the role of Assistant Program Director, the candidate will:

  • Support the development and implementation of the fellowship curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the program's goals and meets accreditation standards.
  • Mentor fellows, offering guidance and addressing concerns related to their professional and personal development.
  • Assist with the recruitment process by reviewing applications, interviewing candidates, and helping select fellows.
  • Organize educational activities to enhance the fellows' learning experience.
  • Contributes to the evaluation of fellows and faculty.
  • Serve as a liaison between the fellows and the Program Director, as well as between the fellowship program and other departments

Active NJ medical license

Hourly Rate Min $172.92
Hourly Rate Max $250


The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position.

A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
