Supplier Quality Engineer

Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join them. You will report to the Supplier Quality Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, Virginia.

To be considered for Supplier Quality Engineer you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing or a two year technical degree with 3 years of quality/machining experience in a manufacture environment.

• Experience using Microsoft Office

• Experience functioning in a team-based manufacturing environment

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will manage all quality aspects of Moog's supplier relationships, including:

• Conducting supplier audits

• Maintaining supplier ratings communication

• On-boarding new suppliers

• Engaging with suppliers to resolve quality issues

• Ongoing supplier risk assessment

• Minimizing internal risks related to incoming inspections
