The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary The Administrative Coordinator provides advanced administrative and operational support to a Breast Surgeon, exercising independent judgment in managing clinical, surgical, and academic priorities. Responsibilities include triaging communications, coordinating office visits and surgical scheduling, facilitating ancillary testing, and overseeing check-in and check-out functions to ensure efficient patient flow and regulatory compliance.
The Coordinator manages and prioritizes the surgeon's academic calendar, supports meetings and institutional commitments, and collaborates closely with the clinical team to resolve scheduling and documentation issues proactively. Additionally, the role supports the Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship Program by coordinating meetings and activities, maintaining required documentation, monitoring deadlines, and serving as a liaison to fellows and institutional stakeholders to ensure program compliance and effectiveness.
