Your Opportunity: Acrylic Design Associates, a division of Taylor Corporation, is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly collaborative Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in Minneapolis! This role will focus primarily on estimating and purchasing functions, serving as a key link between sales, operations, production, and suppliers to ensure accurate costing, timely material availability, and efficient execution of customer and internal demand.

The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for developing accurate estimates for materials, labor, and outside services, while also managing purchasing activities to support production schedules, inventory needs, and business objectives. This role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with evolving priorities.

The ideal candidate brings a blend of cost analysis, procurement coordination, and operational support, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and better alignment across functions.

Work Authorization: To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Your Responsibilities:

Estimating and Cost Analysis

  • Prepare timely and accurate cost estimates for products, projects, and customer requests based on material, labor, freight, and outside service requirements.
  • Review specifications, drawings, historical data, and production requirements to develop complete and reliable estimates.
  • Partner with sales, operations, and production teams to clarify assumptions, validate inputs, and ensure estimates reflect current operational capabilities and costs.
  • Analyze material usage, labor assumptions, and vendor pricing to support quote development and business decision-making.
  • Maintain and update cost models, estimating tools, and related documentation to improve consistency and accuracy.
  • Assist in evaluating margin impact, pricing changes, and cost fluctuations tied to raw materials, purchased components, and outsourced services.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts in the estimating process by identifying inefficiencies, gaps in data, and opportunities for better standardization.

Purchasing and Procurement Support

  • Create and manage purchase orders for raw materials, components, supplies, and outside services needed to support production and business operations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to confirm pricing, availability, lead times, delivery schedules, and order status.

You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, inventory, or operations support.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills (e.g., pivots, lookups); ability to translate data into actions and improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with speed, accuracy, and strong follow-through.

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Experience with Epicor and/or Oracle (or similar ERP systems).
  • Previous manufacturing or project-based procurement experience.
