Business Analyst Oakland, CA/ Dublin, CA-Hybrid (4-5 times in a month) 12 months+ Local candidates only currently residing in Bay Area/Near work location-Oakland, CA/or Dublin, CA is mainly remote but require on-site presence for 4-5 times per month at manager's request. Client's laptop will be issued. Additional docking and monitors may be needed. Personal phone will be required. Develops new or revises existing data analysis to predict business outcomes selecting from various complex variables. Develops and uses metrics to develop recommendations related to business strategy and operations. Presents findings and recommendations to leaders. Manages small to mid-size projects. Strong working experience in data warehousing and business intelligence technologies including good knowledge of Relational Database/SQL, SAS and Business Objects. Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving experience. Responds to internal and external data requests, and ensures deadlines are met and stakeholders are satisfied. Designs effective systems that assist with regulatory filings and various analytical modeling needs based on large volumes of customer and financial data. Technical Proficiency: Advanced in Information Analysis, Market Research, Metrics and KPI Tracking, Consulting Skills, Project Management skills. Proficient in Operational Monitoring & Analysis, Advocacy and Persuasion, Presentation Skills Advanced Excel and highly proficient with SQL database queries and modeling Education Minimum: Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience required.
