Here's what it takes to succeed with us.



  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical controls engineering or related field
  • Experience with industrial automation, PLC programming, and HMI development
  • Proficiency with Allen Bradley (Studio 5000) and FactoryTalk View; Automation Direct experience a plus
  • Experience using CAD software for electrical design
  • Strong knowledge of electrical standards (NFPA 79, UL 508)
  • Experience creating schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts
  • Experience in troubleshooting, optimizing, and supporting industrial systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
  • Experience with ISO 9001 processes preferred
  • Experience with furnace or kiln systems is a plus
  • Ability to lift 30-40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, climbing, and kneeling
  • Ability to access all areas of a manufacturing facility

Responsibilities



  • Design and develop electrical control systems, including PLC programming and HMI interfaces
  • Create and maintain PLC applications (Allen Bradley, Automation Direct preferred)
  • Design, program, and troubleshoot HMI systems (PanelView, C-more)
  • Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using CAD software
  • Design, build, and debug industrial control panels in compliance with NFPA 79 and UL 508 standards
  • Support manufacturing processes, including furnace equipment build and integration
  • Perform onsite troubleshooting, system optimization, and mentor technicians on controls and code issues
  • Interpret customer specifications and ensure systems meet programming and electrical requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and deliverables
  • Support continuous improvement and adhere to ISO 9001 procedures (preferred)
  • Maintain documentation and ensure accuracy across all electrical designs and systems
  • Travel occasionally (less than 10%) and perform additional duties as needed
