The Senior Project Manager is expected to manage multiple Campus Projectssimultaneously ranging in construction value from $5M to $100M. The Senior ProjectManager responsibilities include, without limitation, reviewing andsummarizing project data, conducting field checks for compliance of construction with design documents and DSA requirements, monitoring,reporting and providing recommendations and solutions to the ProjectDirector and Project Management Office relative to current project status, delivery objectives,schedule, costs, budget, staffing, delays, disputes, changes, and compliancewith Standard Operating Procedures and other construction requirements. Based on his/her directobservations of conditions in the field and familiar with all aspects of the designand construction process and supporting documentation, the Senior Project Manageridentifies risks, proposes approaches to mitigating their impacts andmaintains a risk register database to enter and update risks and mitigationplans. The Senior Project Manager coordinates with the College, Design Team andothers to develop and execute construction phasing and swing space plans andtracks progress against those plans. The Senior Project Manager works with theDesign Team, contractors, inspectors, DSA, and others to resolve complex,construction related issues in a timely manner and within budget. The Senior ProjectManager directly oversees the close-out of Campus Projects for compliancewith the requirements of DSA, District, and Project Management Office including coordination with theCollege's relocation project manager of activities related to FF&E, assetdisposition/surplus, and other matters pertaining to relocation. In addition,consistent with the Senior Project Manager position, he/she must have theexperience and skills to assist other College Project team members in the management and coordination of the planning, programming and designphases of Campus Projects and in reporting to the College stakeholders,District and Project Management Office.
