Overview

As Head of Corporate Insurance Americas, you will support the management of insurance programs covering Deutsche Bank's operations across the US and the wider Americas. You will work closely with internal business and infrastructure partners, as well as external insurers and brokers, to help design, place, and administer insurance coverage for key operational risks and to support effective claims handling. As part of the global Corporate Insurance team, you will collaborate with international colleagues and report to the Global Head of Corporate Insurance in Frankfurt, contributing to the ongoing delivery of the Bank's global insurance framework.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the primary point of contact for business and infrastructure leaders across the Americas on corporate insurance coverage
  • Lead and manage relationships with regional insurance brokers and carriers
  • Partner with the global Corporate Insurance team to represent regional needs and implement global insurance programs locally
  • Oversee insurance claims, ensuring timely notification and effective resolution
  • Manage the endtoend administration of insurance policies, including premiums, invoicing, and claims payments

How You'll Lead

  • Partner with business and infrastructure leaders across the organization to advise on insurance needs and coverage solutions
  • Maintain effective relationships across all business lines and infrastructure functions at multiple levels of the organization
  • Act as a senior representative of Deutsche Bank with insurers, brokers, and service providers, ensuring commercial discipline and value for the Bank

Skills You'll Need

  • Strong insurance expertise, ideally across Property & Casualty and Financial Lines
  • Experience using modern technology tools, including Microsoft applications; familiarity with bank systems (e.g., dbBuyer) is a plus
  • Relevant experience within insurance, brokerage, or risk management environments
  • Bachelor's degree in insurance or a related field preferred

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York City or Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

Deutsche Bank provides reasonable accommodations to candidates and employees with a substantiated need based on disability and/or religion.

The salary range for this position in New York, NY is $125,000 to $222,500and Jacksonville, FL is $100,000 to $157,000.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
