This is the full performance level for the occupation. Receives contaminated semi critical reusable medical devices in the decontamination area and may receive noncritical equipment as well. Disassembles the devices and determines the correct cleaning method. Performs and documents daily operational checks and records for all processes and equipment. WHAT WE DO We disinfect and distribute reusable medical equipment. That means we clean, inspect, store, and deliver equipment needed for patient care in a healthcare facility. Because of the work we do, clinical care teams can safely administer essential medications and treatments for patients in our communities. WHY IT MATTERS We provide support to the Operating Room, inpatient, and outpatient units by ensuring that the reusable medical equipment used is reprocessed according to best practices. Within the Low Level Disinfection Department (LLD), our focus is to ensure the delivery of quality products with a timely turnaround for our customers. Department: Lower Level Decontamination An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all the following essential functions. Salary Information As part of our Total Rewards package, Children's Colorado offers an annual employee bonus program that rewards eligible team members based on organizational performance. If organizational goals are met for the year, the bonus is paid out the following April.
