Job Description

The Audience & Customer Data Analyst is responsible for transforming customer and audience-level data into actionable insights that inform marketing strategy, audience targeting, and performance optimization across the Connected Marketing Funnel. This role blends analytical rigor, customer data expertise, and cross functional collaboration to support data-driven decision making for marketing and business stakeholders.


Success in this role requires strong customer data fluency along with a deep understanding of the customer journey and effectively analyzing and communicating audience-level performance across touchpoints.



Key Responsibilities include:



Audience & Customer Data Analysis:



  • Analyze customer and audience-level data to identify behavioral patterns, funnel progression trends, and conversion outcomes
  • Evaluate segmentation logic and audience strategies, identifying improvement opportunities based on performance signals
  • Conduct root-cause and cause-and-effect analysis to understand drivers of business and marketing performance


Cross-Functional Collaboration:



  • Collaborate closely with internal business stakeholders and agency teams to align on analytical needs and unify methodologies
  • Support stakeholders in understanding data logic, analytical outcomes, and audience-level implications
  • Communicate complex analytical concepts in clear, business-focused language to both technical and nontechnical teams
  • Respond to ad hoc analytical requests from leadership in fast paced environments


Data Strategy & Enablement:



  • Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, or challenges related to customer or audience-level inputs and partner with upstream teams to address them
  • Ensure analytical frameworks, performance metrics, and data definitions remain consistent across teams and deliverables

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, business analysis, customer insights, or a related data focused role
  • Strong technical skills with SQL for data extraction and analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive meaningful insights
  • Experience working with customer data, audience segmentation, or customer journey analytics
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross functional teams, external partners, and stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business relevant insights


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and audience modeling
  • Familiarity with marketing measurement, CRM programs, or multitier marketing environments
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) to support insight delivery
  • Automotive industry experience
