In this role, you will:

• Play a vital role in supporting the testing and evaluation of vehiclesa
• Prepare vehicles according to established proceduresa
• Conduct diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of issues using specialized tools and equipment

The Temporary Automotive Test Technician - Impact Lab Mechanic will:a

• Use CAN diagnostic tools (CDA) to check-in vehicles and identify issues and flash software prior to testinga
• Perform repairs and modifications to vehicles as needed to address testing needsa
• Conduct tire mounting, balancing, and road force testinga
• Assist engineers with data acquisition and analysis during testinga
• Document test procedures, findings, and repairs in a clear and concise mannera
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocolsa
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, technicians, and other team membersa

Basic Qualifications:a

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent requireda
• Minimum TWO (2) years of auto service experience requireda
• Strong overall vehicle knowledge and mechanical skillsa
• Valid driver's license with no physical restrictionsa
• Basic computer skillsa
• Effective communication skillsa
• Great attitude and proven abilitiesa
• Initiative-taking and strong work ethic requireda
• Able to work in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:a

• Strong background in fabricationa
• Minimum THREE (3) years auto dealership service experiencea
• Experience with Chrysler Diagnostic Applicationa
