As a Security Officer Truck Gate in New Holland, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will help support access control operations by monitoring entry points, checking badges and credentials, and assisting with security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor and/or delivery activity in support of authorized access procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, loading zones, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items by observing site activity, communicating clearly with staff and visitors, and following post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
