Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for assisting in gathering, tracking, auditing, and closeout of Safety and Operational Findings and Corrective Action Plans. Event investigations will be done at the direction of the SRC and in conjunction with other operational departments.

Major Job Accountabilities:



  • Comply with all Company procedures as outlined in manuals, bulletins, and memos.
  • Perform all job duties in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Must be qualified to perform all aspects of ground operations including Loadmaster, Hazardous Materials, deicing, fueling, special loads, catering, security, etc.
  • Conduct ground damage investigations as directed by SRC with all departments
  • Perform quality control audits at warehouses, ramps, and operations areas. Share these audits with the local Station Managers and customers. Work with all areas to develop action plans to resolve any deficiencies and/or procedural changes as needed.
  • Work diligently to complete audits and investigations in a timely manner.
  • Ensure our customers are current with operating requirements.
  • Conduct cargo loading system evaluations, in coordination with Maintenance.
  • Develop action plans with responsibility parties for areas that are performing below goal to improve the areas performance.
  • Maintain an on-call status during off duty hours for screening of safety related events and investigation initiation
  • Assist if procedural changes are required with departments in development of changes in affected manuals.
  • Accomplish other duties as assigned



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience
  • Must pass initial and maintain Certification in Dangerous Goods handling. Must pass initial and maintain Certification in B747F/767 Weight and Balance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Must possess a valid passport.
  • Must be self-starter, able to work with little supervision in fast paced environment
  • Travel will be required up to 50%, must be able to travel without restrictions
  • Must have the ability to communicate both oral and written in a professional manner.
  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Competitive compensation will be offered based on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity and other factors. In addition, a range of benefits to include medical, dental and vision insurance, employee assistance program, as well as generous paid time off, and 401K contributions are offered as a part of the total compensation package.

Pay Range
$62,500 $84,000 USD
