Responsibilities

Salary Range: $23.50/hr + shift differential

Shift: Maintenance Assistant-2nd shift (3:30pm 12:00am)



Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated,
reliable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The Maintenance
Assistant will be responsible for assisting with various maintenance tasks,
ensuring the smooth operation, upkeep and cleanliness of our facilities. The
ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, good time management
skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and/or in a
team environment setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with general maintenance duties such as repairing equipment, performing
routine inspections, and troubleshooting issues

'
Conduct regular cleaning and
sanitization of work areas and equipment

'
Collaborate with other team members to
complete maintenance tasks and projects on time

'
Clean and sanitize equipment, tools,
and machinery on a regular basis

'
Perform routine maintenance tasks such
as lubricating machinery, replacing filters, and checking fluid levels

'
Conduct inspections of facilities to
identify any maintenance or repairs needed

'
Assist with painting floors, walls,
ceilings and other surfaces as required

'
Repair or replace damaged equipment,
fixtures, or furniture

'
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies
and equipment

'
Collaborate with other team members to
ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations

'
Report any maintenance issues or
concerns to the Maintenance Manager

'
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a
clean and organized work environment

'
Assists with EHS initiatives as
directed

Assumes additional
responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

Basic
Qualifications

'
High school diploma or equivalent.

'
Minimum of 1-year industrial experience
in a manufacturing setting.'

'
Employees must be legally authorized
to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be
required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this
position.

'
This position entails access to

Knowledge of basic maintenance
techniques and tools

'
Ability to perform physical tasks such
as lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for extended periods

'
Good communication skills and the
ability to work well in a team

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage
time effectively

'
Basic knowledge of safety protocols and
procedures.

'
Ability to read, write, and understand
written specifications, procedures, drawings and prints

'
Ability to design and execute from
verbal instructions

'
Safety and quality conscious.

Preferred
Qualifications



  • Prior experience in maintenance or a
    related field is preferred.


Forklift and scissor lift trained,
a plus.
