What We're Looking For
The Flying V Bartender creates exceptional guest experiences through skilled beverage preparation, warm engagement, and efficient service. This role combines creativity, product knowledge, and attention to detail to deliver a vibrant and welcoming bar atmosphere within the restaurant setting.

Who You Are

  • Detail-oriented in recipe execution, safety practices, and presentation

What You Will Do

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following recipes and guest preferences

  • Recommend cocktails, wine, or pairings based on guest interests

  • Ensure beverages meet quality and presentation standards

  • Greet guests warmly and provide personalized, attentive service

  • Take drink orders from guests and servers accurately and efficiently

  • Monitor alcohol consumption and follow responsible service practices

  • Set up and break down the bar, ensuring supplies, equipment, and garnishes are ready for service

  • Maintain a clean and organized bar, including glassware, surfaces, tools, and waste areas

  • Track inventory levels and report shortages to leadership

  • Adhere to all state and local alcohol service regulations

  • Coordinate with servers, barbacks, and culinary teams for smooth operations

  • Assist with restocking and barback support during busy shifts

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Your Experience Includes

Required:

  • Previous food and beverage experience; bartending experience strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of cocktail techniques, beer and wine offerings, and responsible alcohol service

  • Excellent guest service and communication skills

  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout shift

  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Preferred:

  • TIPS or similar alcohol-service certification

  • Hotel or upscale restaurant experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
