Pretzel Operator I - Weekend Night

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and are currently recruiting for a Pretzel Operator I to join our team of manufacturing professionals in Hanover, PA on the Weekend Night Shift. This position works Thursday - Saturday 5:25 PM - 5:25 AM.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate pretzel dough mixers, ensuring dough quality and texture meet standards.
• Weigh raw pretzels every 30 minutes and record extruder speeds/pressure.
• Monitor ingredient stock and maintain a clean, sanitary work area.
• Identify and report mechanical issues and machinery wear to leadership.
• Log operation records and track inventory using handheld scanner.
• Substitute for other processing operators as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and communicate any safety concerns.
• Work proactively in a cross-functional team and communicate production information to other shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Requires knowledge of product quality and basic operations acquired through three months of training.
• Requires basic math and reading skills.
