Job Description

As part of the Retirement & Savings Team (R&S) this role is responsible for assisting the Manager of Savings Plans in the day-to-day administration of all FCA defined contribution plans and financial wellness programs



  • Oversees daily administration of savings plans, ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting internal and external audits, employee communications, and plan design
  • Manage weekly, biweekly, and monthly funding and reconciliation of employee and employer contributions
  • Perform daily rate reconciliation to ensure accuracy
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual audits for all savings plans
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors on plan administration and operations
  • Serve as liaison between ICT and Retirement & Savings, managing system issues across Payroll, PeopleSoft HR, and Workday
  • Respond to day-to-day employee inquiries related to savings plans
  • Support the Manager with data-intensive reviews for external audits, annual compliance testing, and vendor invoices
  • Collect and analyze data to support cash forecasting and budgeting for savings plans
  • Monitor and maintain automation tools for savings plan invoicing, including tracking, auditing, and payment processing
  • Oversee Retirement & Savings mailbox automation, ensuring accurate tracking and case status updates
  • Support UAW negotiations related to savings plans
  • Develop data visualization dashboards highlighting key savings metrics (e.g., participation and deferral rates)

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retirement plans, benefits administration, or defined contribution plan management (e.g., 401(k), 403(b))
  • Strong understanding of defined contribution plan design, compliance, and regulations (e.g., ERISA, IRS rules)
  • Deep understanding of data analytics and AI
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to drive change using data
  • Ability to quickly analyze and interpret data
  • Adept at Microsoft 365
  • Aptitude for working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to professionally and effectively interact with all levels of union and management, including union benefit reps, represented and non-represented employees, and upper management
  • Ability to manage, execute, and deliver on multiple projects with competing priorities within established deadlines
  • Demonstrate maximum integrity with confidential information
  • Percent Travel: 0-20%



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Advanced user of Microsoft 365 including experience with Power Platform tools such as Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps
  • Experience with savings plan communications - design and execution of communications campaign.
  • Savings plan - Benefit Plan Audit experience
  • Knowledge of FCA systems and ability to run reports
  • Experience in the administration of qualified defined contribution plans and knowledge of ERISA and IRC
  • Experience with savings plan administration activities including contributions, distributions, loans, and enrollments
  • Knowledge of recordkeeping platforms and payroll integration processes
