Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full orPart time positions. Bonus amount prorated forPart timehires,per diem hires are ineligible.

Summary:

This is a part-time 24-hour a week, day shift position.

Mid Coast Hospital's Emergency Department has 23 beds and is staffed 24/7. The Emergency Department provides initial treatment to patients of all ages with a broad spectrum of illnesses and injuries. Team members provide rapid assessment and management of critical illnesses, as well as prompt care of minor illnesses and injuries.

The Emergency Department Technician - MCH role works under the clinical supervision of Emergency Department clinicians to assure patient's needs and care requirements are met.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High School graduate or GED preferred.
2. License/Certifications: EMT-P, EMT-A, EMT-B, LPN, or CNA license required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
3. Experience: N/A.
4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Basic computer skills.
