Unit Bio:

Bean 5/IMC/AVU is a high-paced 34-bed medical intermediate care unit. Patient population is vast and includes specialties of acute on chronic states, respiratory failure, complex vascular, general surgical and neuroscience conditions, sepsis and multisystem organ failure. Constant assessment, coordination and interventions are essential. Within the Assisted Ventilation Unit (AVU) patients may require mechanical ventilation in chronic or weaning states; vasoactive medications and frequent assessments and interventions are required.

Summary: This is a temporary 13 week bridge assigment.
The Certified Nursing Assistant - Temporary role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: Relevant experience preferred.
